For Ritual. For Longevity. For Every Day.
Handmade, one at a time. Each Garden Club piece is made with my two hands. I hope you treasure your wares; each is the only one of its kind in the world, and that’s pretty rad.
This slow, meditative process of making is so fulfilling, but let’s be clear: these pieces are for real life. As a mom of two kids, our house is often chaotic and loud. Dishes are dropped, we make veggie chicken nuggets often, and a peaceful, elevated meal is impossible to find here. I make goods that will stand up through the years, and that are just as good for a quick bowl of cereal as they are for a purposeful candlelit dinner.
While I strive for consistency in each piece and collection, it is understood that each item has character; a personality that can’t come from mass-produced goods. Being made from my hands means you’re getting a human-made piece that might vary in size or glaze application.

Durable Stoneware.
I make pieces that are meant to be passed around the table, and used every single day. I use stoneware clay, because it’s so incredibly durable. Stoneware heats evenly and feels substantial in your hands. My custom blend of clay, when fired to maturity, becomes strong, chip-resistant, and can withstand a wide variety of temperatures (your piece can go in the microwave and dishwasher). All of my pieces are food-safe and lead-free.

Made to Use.
When designing and making pieces, I design with longevity and heirloom-quality in mind. And while I hope my works bring peace and ritual to your lives (carving out special bits of item to just pause), my wares are meant to use every day. Mugs are just right, spoon holders can be thrown into the dishwasher, and bowls are just as good for boxed mac & cheese as they are for fancy risotto. Real life means easy, comfortable, and long-lasting.

Each collection takes about a month or so to throw, trim, fire, glaze, fire again, and photograph. This means you can expect shop updates once every 4-6 weeks. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and sign up for my newsletter to be kept in the loop, and be the first one to know about release dates.

I do! When ordering, you’ll see an option for local pickup. Your order can be picked up from my home in NE Portland. Please note that pickup times will be scheduled on certain days of the week. It’s important that you show up in the window we agree on (setting a reminder on your calendar is a great way to remember).

In the event your order arrives damaged, you’re responsible for contacting me within 24 hours of delivery (and including images). I will arrange for a replacement as soon as humanly possible. If you’re unable to wait for a replacement, I will offer a refund.
Because of the custom nature of my work, I do not accept returns or offer refunds simply because you do not like a piece, or if you change your mind.

Please note that shipping delays are entirely out of my control, and I do not offer refunds for orders that don’t arrive on a specific date.
